Appetizing Snack for Children’s Day

International Children’s Day is commemorated as a celebration of childhood.

Breaded Fish and Chips

Ingredients: 

¨   vegetable oil for frying

¨   1 egg, beaten

¨   500g (1 lb) red snapper fillets

¨   50g (2 oz) dried breadcrumbs

Method:

1.  In a large heavy deep fryer, heat oil to190℃

2.  Dip fillets into beaten egg and dredge in breadcrumbs

3.  Gently slide fish into hot oil and fry until golden brown.

4.  Drain briefly on kitchen roll. Serve hot with chips and mushy peas.
