Fried Chicken Recipe

 

Chicken is a popular ingredient due to its versatility and availability. Check out the chicken dish in case of the next dinner dilemma.

 

•   3-5 pounds of chicken pieces, 2-3 cans of evaporated milk, 2 tablespoons garlic powder, 1-teaspoon ginger, 1-teaspoon sage, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 cup of corn oil, 1 teaspoon paprika, and 2 cups of flour.

 

•   Mix flour and all the mentioned seasonings together in a large mixing bowl. Dip chicken pieces in milk for about 20 seconds; roll chicken pieces in flour mixture.

 

•   Add oil into the deep fryer. When oil is hot, shake the excess seasoning off the chicken and add the pieces into the frying basket. Fry the chicken in batches. Don't overcrowd the oil tank! Carefully add the food, leaving enough space around each piece to ensure the evenly cooking of the food.

 

•   Deep fry the chicken pieces for about several minutes per side. Regulate the heat as cooking , keeping the oil temperature below 375 degrees F.

 

•   Drain chicken on paper towels.
