Shenzhen Improves Minimum Wage Rate to RMB 1,320 Per Month

According to the relevant provision of the "Labor Contract Law" , "Regulations of the Shenzhen Municipality on the Wage Payment to Employees" and "About the several Provisions on Part-time Labor" on the minimum wage in Shenzhen, the government has approved that Shenzhen will adopt a new minimum wage rate starting from April 1. Specifically, the minimum wage rate for full time employees is RMB 1,320 per month, the highest level in the country. And that for part-time workers will also increase by nearly 20 percent to RMB 11.7 per hour from next month, also the highest in China.
